What to Expect when
Looking for a Residential Inspection?
Here at Deja Blue we take a different approach to residential swimming pool inspections. Instead of rushing through with vague or jargonized language, we focus on delivering the most thorough and informative inspection and reporting possible. Our goal is to uncover every issue present, document it big or small, so you can make confident, informed decisions about your pool investment.
We specialize in identifying existing and potential issues and providing realistic industry estimates for recommended repairs or upgrades.
Our philosophy is simple: Inspect the pool first. Before making an offer, it’s important to understand the true condition of the pool—especially if it’s more than a few years old. Knowing where and how a pool is aging can reveal everything about its construction quality and what to expect in the years ahead.
Expert-level residential swimming pool inspections are our bread and butter. As CDC-trained, third-generation aquatic professionals, we bring unmatched experience and insight to every inspection.
When Is A Professional Pool Inspection Essential ? The pool is older than 1–3+ years old
If its a “saltwater” pool (critical must inspect)
The owner or seller has been maintaining it themselves
The seller claims, “It’s basically new”, or “There nothing wrong”
The pool has been recently resurfaced or remodeled
The equipment pad looks old, rusted, or mismatched manufactuerers
The water clarity or quality seems off or has an unusual odor or color
A pool inspection can be done before or after purchase, but for maximum negotiating power, always inspect the pool first—before the home, pest, or beyond!

"Add-On Inspection"
— Get a True Pool Expert
Too many Home Inspection Companies offer sub par pool evaluations as an add-on service, but these are typically conducted by generalists rather than trained aquatic professionals. As a result, major concerns are often missed, misinterpreted, or dismissed altogether—issues that can later translate into substantial financial loss. Investing slightly more in a qualified pool specialist ensures a thorough inspection, accurate documentation, and a clear understanding of your pool’s true condition before you finalize your purchase.

Unique. Unmatched. Exceptionally Detailed.
We’ve spent more than two decades working on pools every week—servicing, repairing, optimizing, and consulting—and our family has been in the aquatic industry since 1952. Over that time, we’ve built deep relationships with local experts who help us deliver truly comprehensive inspections. Our experience isn’t just something we talk about—it’s something that pays for itself every single time, or your money back.
